Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you’ll support the Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Superintendent, and Vice President of Construction to ensure our projects run smoothly from inception through close-out. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage drawing workflows: issue and track drawings via Procore, coordinate consultant/subcontractor distribution, maintain ‘As Built’ and electronic archive sets
- Administer the submittal process: setup and manage submittal logs, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure timely reviews and distribution
- Assist bidding efforts: build and maintain bidder lists, prepare bid packages, upload drawings, file bid documents
- Maintain Sketch & RFI logs: log incoming information, distribute to proper parties, follow up weekly
- Support close-out activities: compile operations manuals, warranty information, assist punch-lists, help final payments and turnover
- Additional tasks as needed: setup construction office builds, support safety program, contribute to quality assurance efforts
Skills/Requirements
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (multi-family/commercial construction experience is a plus)
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning construction-management software (Procore preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (minimal travel required)
Education
- BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Studies or equivalent experience
