Site Selection

Often the most promising sites are those with steep barriers of entry. Never deterred by arduous zoning and approval processes, we believe difficult situations and challenges inspire creativity and innovation.

Focus came to the Village Board over year ago promising an upscale residential development with resort style amenities. With the project entering final construction, it is obvious they have not disappointed.

“The Atworth at Mellody Farm” boasts Dwelling units with upgraded kitchen and bath features including cabinets, stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops. Amenities include a pool, bocce ball courts outdoor grills and meeting rooms.

With a proven record of accomplishment, having successfully completed the mixed-use building in the Vernon Hills Town Center in 2010, FOCUS is once again delivering a development the entire community can be proud of.

Design

Our dedication to elevated design produces timeless architecture which results in the highest value for our partners and customers as supported by the record sales of Focus projects in the past. Design excellence comes naturally to Focus' development managers, many of whom are all skilled architects. As contextual designers, key components of community building are thoughtfully woven into our work, from concept through delivery.

You learn a lot about an organization when you partner with them on multiple projects in a relative short span of time. We have worked with the Focus team on several high-profile apartment developments in the last five years. In all instances Focus’s performance has been excellent. From meeting timely schedules to providing a top-quality end product all while coming in on-budget. Focus delivered time and again. The accounting, reporting and project oversight is always professional as is the communication with their clients.

Construction projects can certainly test the limits of collaboration and coordination between parties and Focus delivers here as well. Any difficulties that are encountered they are quick to find solutions and quickly resolve any issues. Integrated Delivery Model

Managing risk in an industry where risk is inherent requires unusual skill. Our in-depth understanding of construction methodologies and detailed pre-development schedules controls project progress and scope. To ensure control, development managers maintain accountability for no more than two projects at a time, each in a different phase of development.
