Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations on interior and smaller construction projects (typically under $5M). In this role, you’ll be the on-site leader—ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with contract requirements and municipal regulations. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and senior field leadership to coordinate teams, subcontractors, inspections, and logistics so that every project reflects our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Lead on Site
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate subcontractors, assistant superintendents, and labor teams.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with field teams, inspectors, neighbors, and partners.
- Enforce labor agreements and site expectations with professionalism.
Manage Schedules & Coordination
- Support development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Sequence subcontractor activities, inspections, deliveries, and manpower for smooth execution.
- Monitor progress and take action to keep commitments on track.
Safety & Quality Assurance
- Champion company and jobsite safety protocols; run weekly safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage site security, housekeeping, signage, and overall logistics to uphold high safety standards.
- Review plans for constructability and sequencing to support quality outcomes.
Municipal & Compliance
- Confirm permits and approvals are obtained before work begins.
- Coordinate and attend inspections; ensure compliance with local codes.
- Facilitate final inspections, occupancy approvals, and close-out documentation.
Project Administration
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation in Procore.
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, field directives, and change orders with Project Managers.
- Track subcontractor insurance, percent complete, draws, and payments.
Close-Out Support
- Help complete punch lists and project close-out packages.
- Support collection of warranties, O&M manuals, lien waivers, and as-builts.
