Responsibilities
Lead daily construction operations on interior and smaller projects (typically under $5M). As the on-site leader, you’ll ensure that work is delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with contract documents and local requirements. You’ll partner closely with the Project Manager and Senior Superintendent to coordinate teams, subcontractors, inspections, and logistics—helping us build with purpose and precision.
Lead on Site
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate Assistant Superintendents, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Build strong, professional relationships with field teams, inspectors, neighbors, and partners.
- Uphold labor contract requirements and enforce expectations with integrity.
Schedule & Coordination
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Sequence subcontractor activities, inspections, deliveries, and manpower for smooth execution.
- Monitor progress and take corrective action to keep projects on track.
Safety & Site Management
- Champion company and site-specific safety programs.
- Conduct and document weekly safety meetings and inspections in Procore.
- Manage site security, housekeeping, signage, and jobsite logistics.
Quality Control
- Review construction documents for buildability and sequencing.
- Assist in developing and implementing the quality control program.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, layouts, pre-punchlists, and final punchlists.
Municipal & Inspection Coordination
- Verify permits and approvals are in place before work begins.
- Coordinate and attend inspections to ensure code compliance.
- Secure final inspections and occupancy approvals.
Administration & Closeout
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation in Procore.
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, field directives, and change orders with the Project Manager.
- Support punchlist completion, warranty collection, O&M manuals, lien waivers, as-builts, and close-out activities.
Additional Support
- Assist with value engineering, quantity takeoffs, and bid support as needed.
