Construction is well underway at Porter in Oak Park, IL.
This month teams have been busy installing the first precast panels which are a fundamental part of the building's structure. In this video, you can see the North half of the first level concrete set and two of the columns which will eventually support level two. Additionally, teams completed the install of the seven-story, North stairway tower and elevator shaft structures this month.
In the coming weeks, the garage level one and two will be set allowing teams to pour the concrete slab at grade and the third level floor. Later in September teams will begin erecting the tower crane which will allow the building to begin vertical construction, and the masonry team will mobilize to begin installing the concrete masonry units which will eventually support the building's brick façade.
