Plans have just been filed with the county for a residential tower the former Starlite Motel property in Brickell.
Chicago-based Focus acquired the property in November 2022 for $28 million.

Demolition at the site was completed earlier this year, and the property was also recently approved to be included in Miami-Dade’s Rapid Transit Zoning area, allowing higher density.
On August 4, a pre-application was filed with Miami-Dade planners for the new building.
The tower is proposed to rise 39 stories, or 425 feet and include:
