Construction is set to begin next month on another Chicago-area sales, service and distribution center for electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc.
An Oct. 4 groundbreaking is set for the 50,000-square-foot facility to be built on vacant land at 1200 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook.
Developed by Focus and Fort Union, the facility will be Tesla’s 10th Illinois location.
Upon completion in 2024, “this innovative project will represent a significant milestone for Focus, and we look forward to working with Tesla to create a lasting positive economic and environmental impact in the Northbrook community and across the state," said Focus founder and CEO Tim Anderson in an emailed statement.
