Progress continues in Vernon Hills on the redevelopment of Hawthorn Mall. In June, teams continued to frame the new 311 luxury apartments which make up the first phase of the mall redevelopment. As of this week, teams had completed 46% of unit framing, with a total of 142 units framed. Additionally, 36% of windows have been installed, the MEPs, drywall and building enclosure are progressing with unit finishes going in soon. Teams have started to prepare for the install of roads, hardscapes and landscapes later this summer and into the fall.
