The Focus construction team continues to make great progress on the construction of the second phase of apartments being added at Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. Lucca Fox Valley is the second apartment community being added to the mall by Chicago based real estate developer and its partners.
The above video depicts just how much activity is going on at the construction site. Lucca Fox Valley is subdivided into three distinct phases which enables our construction team to deploy efficient, phased schedules. The facade of the first phase of construction has been completed and so teams have moved inside the building, where they are busy with interior build out. Teams have nearly completed the buildings structure on the second phase of the building with teams installing the building masonry across two different elevations. The third phase of the project is the final portion of the building where the structure is currently in progress.
In the coming weeks, teams will continue to be busy across the site. On the second phase of the project teams will be focused on finalizing the facade including masonry and siding. Teams will finalize framing the second floor on the third phase of the building, and will begin focusing on the exterior courtyard where they will begin underground utility work, foundations, construction on the pool, and the linear park. Inside the building, teams will be busy. Installing everything from countertops and plumbing fixtures, to furnaces, water heaters and drywall.
