The Link Evanston presented challenges that brought out the best in our team. Any structure under 15 stories that must be non-combustible traditionally utilizes poured-in-place concrete, but this approach results in a loss of efficiency with mid-rise construction. Due to these restraints along with the rising cost of concrete, Focus chose the Diversakore system for the construction of Link Evanston. When utilized, this system can save significant costs in construction budgets. We were also the first to use this system in the Chicagoland area.

The Focus construction management team is led by Senior Project Manager Steve Rogers, Superintendent II Rich Czarnik and supported by Project Engineer Bhavin Pardiwala. The Link Evanston began leasing early this year and expects to open late summer 2019.
