Focus Feature: The Parker - Fulton Market

Designed by Booth Hansen Architects, in collaboration with Focus, the Parker was completed in 2016. This 29-story post-tension concrete tower located in the Chicago Fulton Market area is truly a work of art. This tower contains 9,715 GSF of class A ground-floor retail, 162 enclosed parking spaces, and 227 luxury apartments free for renting with amenities such as a yoga studio, a fitness center, a pool-equipped sun terrace with fire pits, grills and daybeds. This amazing tower was designed to offer residents nothing but first-class comfort and the chance to enjoy an awe-inspiring lifestyle.

The Parker is a bullet-shaped tower enwrapped in glass which offers majestic and breath-taking floor-to-ceiling views of both the Fulton Market and the Chicago skyline.

The Design Process

This luxury tower was designed to please even those with the highest standards. The main goal was to impact lives, enhance the community, build value, and harness the power of innovation to bring residents something never before experienced.

The collaborative team of architects and builders managed to balance aesthetic priorities with financial ones in order to give this stunning project the finishing touches it deserves. A unique building, the highest quality architecture, all these elements contributed to the magnificence of the Parker, but it was the special integrated delivery method that added that finishing touch that made this building so unique.

Thanks to the integrated delivery method, the architects and engineers were able to apply numerous value-engineer savings in order to make the best use of the resources at hand. It's no wonder why this amazing tower had the highest per-square-foot price in the Chicago area in 2017.

The Residential Component

The residential component of the Parker is a real gem. It includes everything from one-bedroom apartments and studios to two and three-bedroom apartments. The residential complex also includes loading, trash services, and bike storage in the leasing center. The building's lobby is located on the first floor, while the sixth floor offers a bulk of various residential amenities such as an outdoor pool deck, a lounge with an internet cafe, and a large indoor and outdoor group dining space.

On top of all that, there is an additional multipurpose room on the fifth floor with a yoga and fitness studio. All those who love breath-taking and magnificent views can head up to the 29th floor, where they can use a community lounge to observe the enchanting downtown skyline.
