Kelmscott Park Construction Update, July 2018

Teams at Kelmscott Park celebrate another big milestone onsite with the topping off of the first condominiumbuilding.

The Focus construction team gathered this month for a lunch in honor of the topping off of the first phase of condominiums built at Kelmscott Park. Teams thanked tradesmen and women involved in the project for their hard work and dedication over lunch featuring local fried chicken and burgers.

With the building now under roof, teams can work despite any inclement weather which means that progress should continue at a rapid pace. The framed building now resembles its apartment counterparts with the iconic gables and chimneys now installed. Additionally, teams have started to install the windows, notable for their dark moldings, along the south façade of the building.

In the coming month, the team will focus on the mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins throughout the interior of the building. Across the exteriors, crews will finish installing the windows along the East façade and begin work on the detailed brick masonry, another icon of the Kelmscott Park community.

The Orren Pickell team is nearing completion on the first single family home and expects to began construction on the second sold home earlier in July. Stayed tuned for more updates on Kelmscott!
