North Shore Tesla facility trades hands for almost $30 million

The Chicago area’s flagship Tesla facility traded hands in a deal showing the strength of a North Shore property with a reliable cash flow.

A joint venture of Chicago-based developers Focus and Fort Union sold the recently built 47,997-square-foot property at 1200 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook, brokerage Jones Lang LaSalle announced yesterday. The buyer, Las Vegas-based investment firm Kingsbarn Realty Capital, paid almost $30 million for the property, according to sources familiar with the deal.
