Speedwagon purchased this 1910 printer’s loft out of receivership and hired Focus to finish its conversion to luxury apartments. The building had stood vacant for many months prior to Speedwagon’s purchase, and a significant number of repairs were necessary before construction on the interior finishes could commence. Conversion of the 45 apartments was completed in a compressed seven-month construction period.
After successfully leasing the apartments, Speedwagon elected to sell the property. Together with our partners Atlantic Realty Partners, Focus purchased the building and the adjacent parking lot and initiated plans to construct an 11-story mid-rise building. The new structure connected to the existing loft building and became Circa922, a 145-unit luxury apartment community.
