Our recently completed office project for client, Akoya Capital is no exception. Focus was brought in to complete the interior buildout of the new office space located on the sixth floor of the 401 North Michigan Avenue building. This turnkey project allowed the Focus team to participate in early design which helped to maintain better control of the construction budget, saving the client money and time.

The 5,000 square-foot space includes an open floor plan and perimeter offices surrounded with glass, allowing the entire space to reap the benefits of an incredible Chicago skyline view. We created a social space, conference rooms with state-of-the-art technology, and a wellness room, all while keeping the company’s top request in mind – creating a space that eliminated sound transmission. With this in mind, we increased in-wall insulation, created demising partitions between offices, and insulated the perimeter convector cover chase between offices.

Akoya Capital’s office space was turned over on time and on budget, giving its employees access to the best space with the absolute best views.
