Construction speeds along in Aurora as teams top out the second phase of redevelopment at Fox Valley Mall, Lucca.
Last month teams were busy across all three phases of construction at Lucca Fox Valley. Teams celebrated the topping out, or the structural completion of the project when the final structural trusses and sheathing for the third and final phase of the building were installed. As shown in this video, this was the final task for the crane, which will soon be disassembled. Also shown here, teams are hard at work on the second phase facade including masonry and hardy installation. Not visible, multiple trades are making progress on the interiors of the buildings, with everything from framing and drywall to interior finishes including plumbing, counters, cabinets and more. Simultaneously, teams are busy polishing some of the exterior spaces like the residential courtyard, linear park and main entrance where teams poured concrete patios, walkways and more.
Over the next few months, teams will continue efforts to finalize finishes in the first phase units as well as in the amenity areas. Simultaneously, they will continue drywalling the second phase units and begin installing finishes. Lastly, and now that the structure is in place, teams working on the third phase of the project will be focused on MEP- FP installs and inspections. Site work will continue with roads being installed prior to winter and the pool and courtyard work will continue with landscaping scheduled for install this year.
Teams are on track for delivery next spring. To learn more about the rental options and to be notified of pre-leasing opportunities, be sure to check out the property website: luccafoxvalley.com
