The second phase of Focus' ambitious Kelmscott Park multifamily development in suburban Lake Forest is underway. Focus broke ground on the condominiumminium component to the development, and the first deliveries are expected in Q1 2019

The Lake Forest City Council approved Kelmscott Park last year. It is a mix of 111 luxury apartments, 42 condominiums and 12 single-family homes. The condominiums are two- and three-bedroom units with prices starting at $625K. Focus Development is setting aside half of the development's 11-acre site for open space, and is building a series of interconnected pocket parks within the property.

Kelmscott Park is four blocks from Market Square, Lake Forest's downtown shopping district, as well as the Lake Forest Metra station, providing an easy commute to downtown Chicago. Focus Development has been busy in the suburbs this year. The firm sold the Reserve at Glenview, a 239-unit apartment development in Glenview, to Lowe Enterprises for $81M in August.
