Logan Apartments is Chicago’s newest mixed-use apartment development.

Set in Chicago’s up-and-coming Logan Square neighborhood, Logan Apartments will be a state-of-the-art mixed-use building with close access to a variety of retail shops and storefronts. Below you will find details on the structural and architectural design along with other interesting project facts:

Logan Apartments Overview

This innovative property is currently under development in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood at 2480-2522 N Milwaukee. Covering 327,500 SF this project is not only a residential apartment complex but also a retail project, making it a resourceful mixed-use construction project. 62,000 SF of this space will be used for retail.

The development will consist of two mixed-use buildings - one 5-story building and one 6-story building. The development offers 220 residential apartments with 154 residential parking spaces.

Structural Design

Logan Apartments were designed by the architects at Antunovich Associates with Focus as the general contractor on the project. Focus is also joined by co-developers Fifield and Terraco. The building will be split into two structures that are connected through a glass and steel pedestrian sky bridge to promote walkability.

This structure will utilize structural steep podiums and cold form metal framing for the upper residential floors. In addition to this, the façade will consist of brick veneer and metal panels.

Aesthetic Design & Amenities

Logan Apartments is not only innovative structurally but presents residents with inventive aesthetic features and resourceful amenities. Mixed-use apartments offer comfortable residential solutions in addition to a variety of retail storefronts making errands easy for residents and neighbors of the development – therefore benefitting the community as a whole.

Logan Apartments will be home to a variety of storefronts including a Target. Tenants will have access to a variety of amenities including:

  • An outdoor terrace with a pool
  • An indoor gym
  • Lounge areas
  • A sun deck with a pool
  • Grilling stations
  • A dog run
  • A bocce ball court
  • Dedicated co-working spaces
  • Entertainment spaces
  • Communal kitchens

The floor plans offer various room counts ranging from studio to 2-bedrooms. All rooms feature open kitchens, stainless steel appliances, and luxury bathrooms. Residents of Logan Apartments will experience a premium living experience due to an emphasis on luxury and convenience.

The project hit a significant milestone in September when construction topped off the 5th and 6th stories of both structures. Logan Apartments are projected to be completed in the fall of 2019. Focus is proud to be the GC working on this groundbreaking mixed-used development.
