Focus and Shapack Partners Are Joined by City Officials to Break Ground at 167 Green Street in Fulton Market

18 April 2019

The Focus team is excited to expand its footprint in Fulton Market District with the groundbreaking of 167 Green Street, the newest project for the rapidly developing area. The project, executed in collaboration with Shapack Partners and Walton Street Capital, will be an exciting new office and urban space that will lend itself to the area’s cultural tranSFormation.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this project and to be involved in an area of the city that is experiencing such exponential growth and momentum,” said Tim Anderson. “As a company, we are always looking for ways to enhance the communities we work in. Shapack Partners share in that goal and have led in tranSForming Fulton Market.

The official groundbreaking took place today, and Focus was in great company with Mayor Emanuel, Alderman Burnett, Shapack Partners, Gensler (the architect on the project) and others. The 17-story office building will be home to several large companies, including WeWork, who will occupy 140,000 of the 750,000 SF.

This project comes on the heels of several other exciting projects for Focus, including The Link in Evanston, Kelmscott Park condominiumminiums in Lake Forest, and The Atworth at Mellody Farm in Vernon Hills. Focus has also made a mark on Fulton Market with its work on The Parker Fulton Market and Circa 922 in the West Loop.
