Lumen at Fox Valley, Construction Update July 2022

Progress continues on the Lumen project in Aurora, IL.

Part of the redevelopment of Fox Valley Mall, the Lumen apartment project is beginning to take its final shape. As observable in this recent construction update, teams are hard at work on the exterior façade of the Northern-most building, where they are also roughing-in MEPFPs in the interior.

Inside Building B, the furthest along of the three, teams have begun installing finishes in the amenity spaces and building the privacy walls which separate ground floor unit patios.

One major amenity also took shape in the last month. The pool, which will be shared by all three buildings, has been dug, the concrete shell poured with tile finishes installed.

Lastly, concrete curbs have been poured as site teams prepare for new road installation, taking place in the coming months.
