Focus completed AwayTravel’s Chicago location in The Gold Coast at the corner of State and Cedar in the winter of 2018. The sales floor has only 1,500 SF of space but the high ceilings and a tall blue feature wall, nicknamed the “Instagram Wall”, gives a much larger sense of space. There are several areas to display products which include granite and marble tables, custom woven metal shelving and stands as well as a wall which has been covered in a concrete cover coat. The exterior of the space is wrapped in an all glass curtain wall and includes several large back-lit LED signage panels resembling their various luggage products. An additional 2,000 SF of space in the back of the house is used for product storage and management offices.
